The development of 112 Parnell Road involved the conversion of a council car park into a landmark building in Parnell, Auckland comprising office suites, retail and penthouse apartments, while retaining some selected on-grade street car parking for Auckland City as a condition of the resource consent. Resolving complicated titling and resource consent issues, including the establishment of after hours car parking for retail users, was also required. In addition to the legal requirements of this project, Knight Coldicutt assumed responsibility for assisting the client to fulfil onerous Council requirements, involving managing and co-ordinating multiple parties through the process.
